In late July the first initiative of this collaboration, a new website,, was launched. The site allows visitors to navigate through the scores of career opportunities across all sectors of real estate. For the first time, students and educators can explore possible career pathways across the built environment by taking an interactive quiz. As the industry seeks to fill millions of jobs, this site serves as an all-inclusive resource for students, educators, career changers and other stakeholders. "Nobody grows up saying they want to be a corporate real estate executive," said Angela Cain, chief executive officer of CoreNet Global. "This new website is the perfect starting point for raising awareness about a dynamic career most job seekers don't even know exists." Iolanda Meehan Warren Neilson Josh Packard Claire Penny Devakee Rahalkar Kay Sargent Sharon Turner Julie Whelan Gordon Wright Jan Zesach Linda Rains, MCR, CCIM, former chairwoman of NACORE International, a predecessor organization of CoreNet Global, passed away in July. Her corporate real estate career included senior positions with KFC, Platinum Rotisserie and Metromedia Restaurant Group. She was a key member of the integration team that formed CoreNet Global in 2002 and was active in the Atlanta Chapter. "Linda was a memorable character and one of the few women in a leadership role in corporate real estate in the '80s and '90s," said Angela Cain, CoreNet Global CEO.
