During her career, Erica Chapman has built a reputation for affecting the bottom line through cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality outcomes. In her three years at Akamai, her goal has been to drive comprehensive, holistic, and differentiated strategies that enable Akamai to deliver on its promise of a hyper-connected world, where business, entertainment, and life are empowered to new heights. Her global leadership and breadth of responsibilities extend to every aspect of real estate, workplace, administrative services, and security. She currently is involved in spearheading the development of the Akamai Global headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. With a budget close to $1 billion, this project is set to redefine the workplace experience for Akamai employees both in the U.S. and globally, as its capacity for employee engagement goes "to the next level." Prior to joining Akamai, Erica served as the head of Real Estate/Americas for OSRAM, vice president of Global Real Estate & Facilities for inVentiv Health, and director of Corporate Real Estate for Adidas. As a licensed attorney, Erica draws on her experience and knowledge to support her profession. She serves on the editorial board of the Corporate Real Estate Journal, and serves on the board of directors of the CoreNet Global New England Chapter.
