the lea D er December 2018 41 Mike Brucato is focused on growing the global workplace-solutions business in the Northeast U.S. During his career, Mike has held roles in account management and strategic consulting, providing advisory and analytical services to a variety of corporate clients across a number of different industries and asset types. Additionally, he has worked with companies evaluating consolidation opportunities specific to merger and acquisition activities. As a graduate from Boston University with a degree in economics, Mike knew early on what career path he would follow. He told CoreNet Global in a recent interview, "I knew from my very first exposure to the real estate industry I was hooked and committed to be- ing within this industry." Mike is an active member of his local CoreNet Global chapter and has been a consistent advocate of the benefits of membership, especially for young CRE professionals looking to network with senior leaders and grow their professional presence. He earned his MCR last year and continues to explore opportunities to differentiate his skills in order to stay on top of the latest real estate trends and to bring value to his clients and his firm. At CBRE, Michelle leads the West Coast Sales & Client Solutions team for CBRE's Global Workplace Services (GWS) division. She works on uniting the best of CBRE's platform to develop and deliver innovative solutions in response to complex, large-scale outsourcing initiatives for clients across the globe within a wide range of sectors. As a member of CBRE's Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector, she recently initiated a global knowledge exchange for solution directors, allowing her peers to share and engage internally and promote best practices. In 2016, she received a GWS Busi- ness Development Unsung Hero award for her work, and in 2018 she completed CBRE's GWS Rising Leaders Program. She is an active member of CoreNet Global and serves as administrative director on the board of directors for the Northern California Chapter. She is also the communi- cations chair for the Global Young Leaders Committee, and earned her master of corporate real estate (MCR) designation in 2018.
