6 JUNE 2019 th E l E ad E r M E S S A G E F R O M T H E C H A I R M A N David Kamen, MCR.h Chairman Americas Real Estate Services Leader | Business Enablement Ernst & Young LLP F resh on the heels of the FutureForward 2025 project that made forecasts about how members will want to belong, convene, learn and access information and content, we are tackling a number of key initiatives in our current fiscal year ending in March 2020. First, we will explore membership models and seek to find new and interesting ways for members to gain access to the organization. Next, we will begin to experiment with new technologies and experiences that help us further customize your participation in CoreNet Global. This will include, for example, the following: • Use of AI in the delivery of content based upon individual interest • An audio version of The Leader magazine content with an ultimate goal of streamlining all of our content and learning opportunities into a seamless platform over time • VR simulations that offer Global Summit attendees an opportunity to experience empathy in the areas of racism, homelessness and climate change • Live streaming of learning programs and Global Summit sessions • The addition of micro learning content for just-in-time training on timely topics • Increased opportunities to co-create and collaborate at events • Exploration of outdoor spaces and offerings that break traditional conference models • Expanded use of video and podcasts to broaden access to content and provide global access to locally sourced offerings • Revised Corporate Real Estate Forums now presented as VIP Partner Experiences designed as unique access to interesting places, people and formats for sharing And finally, we are focused this year on member engagement. Our goal is to have every member engage in the organization at least once. Each touchpoint that a member has with the association – such as chapter participation, a learning seminar, Global Summit attendance, download of a research report – increases the likelihood of that member renewing dramatically. It also strengthens the value of our global network. Much like a gym membership, association memberships don't work unless you use them. So I am asking each of our members to help a fellow member plug in and become part of our 11,000-strong global network of professionals who continue to impress me with their generosity, willingness to share and desire to enhance the corporate real estate profession. David Kamen, MCR.h Chairman CoreNet Global
